Bipolar Open Air

For Bipolar Open Air, the official pre-event to Splash! Festival – Germany’s largest hip-hop festival – I developed the full visual identity and social media presence. The goal was to create a design that reflects both hip-hop culture and the summer vibe of the venue.

The event took place at YAAM Berlin, an open-air cultural space along the Spree River, run by members of the African diaspora. This unique setting played a key role in shaping the visual language: a mix of urban street aesthetics, vibrant summer elements, and authentic hip-hop imagery.

I was the lead designer, responsible for concept and execution, supported by an intern who adapted the design for print. Tools used included Blender, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

The final design was sponsored by Hennessy, received over 150,000 views on the official Splash! Instagram channel, and was featured on posters across Berlin as well as throughout various digital media platforms.
