Auf Level Vol 1

The first Auf Level event marked the beginning of my collaboration with Amazon Music and laid the foundation for an ongoing partnership. As the visual designer, I was tasked with creating the branding for an entirely new event format, at a time when its scope and audience were still undefined.

The briefing was intentionally open-ended, and key aspects of the concept, such as the genres to be featured or the desired atmosphere, were decided only as the project progressed. This made design decisions particularly challenging, requiring me to develop options, seek active feedback, and align the visual direction iteratively.

Through this experience, I learned the importance of communicating design choices clearly, proactively asking for interim feedback, and providing the team with a sense of clarity and direction. The branding established during this project laid the groundwork for the format’s further evolution and led to a long-term collaboration with Amazon Music, extending beyond the two “Auf Level” events.

I was solely responsible for the visual design, collaborating closely with the agency team that handled communication and coordination with Amazon.
